Martha Cooper is a native Georgian educated in Gwinnett County Schools and at Tift College. After college she lived in several states while supporting the career of her husband Bill. In the early eighties Martha and Bill returned to Georgia and founded a specialty food business that still operates in Gwinnett County with customers in all parts of the United States.
Martha is the mother of five children, but has always found time to serve her community. She has held local and state office as a member of several civic organizations. She is a member of the Athens First United Methodist Church
In 2000, Martha retired from the family business and obtained her real estate license. She was immediately successful with two million dollars in sales in her first 7 months in business and was a member of the Million Dollar Club in 2001 and 2002.
In 2002, Martha moved to Athens and joined the Coldwell Banker team. She is a member of the Athens Board of Realtors, the Georgia Board of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
