Carlton Purvis is an experienced Associate Broker and REO Specialist in the Greater Athens area and has been working with REO vendors, servicers, and business affiliates for more than 30 years. Purvis became a licensed salesperson in the state of Georgia in 1971 and opened his first brokerage in 1986.

Purvis has served on many REALTOR®boards, associations, has chaired many committees, been a trustee, and retained countless designations. In the Athens real estate industry, Purvis has played an integral role in conceptualizing and establishing several initiatives such as the local board of REALTORS®excellence awards, known as the Circle of Achievement, for which he has achieved the honor 22 years during his career and was awarded the Silver Phoenix Level designation. Purvis holds many real estate designations and continues to collect such higher education certifications.

Purvis resides in Watkinsville, GA with his wife, Ellen, where they are members of Watkinsville First Baptist Church. He is the proud father to two daughters, and grandfather to two grandchildren.

Purvis attended the University of Georgia where he majored in Real Estate. He chose to affiliate with Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty because, as he states, "I knew the founder, the late Charles L Upchurch, II and of his son, the now Owner/Broker, Charlie.
