As the daughter of a broker/builder/developer she was exposed to the real estate industry from an early age. Late in 1979, just prior to the birth of her second child, she was licensed as a sales associate and began working with her Dad in the spring of 1980 in Stone Mountain, GA. Upon his retirement in 1982 she joined Coldwell Banker Barton & Ludwig in Stone Mountain. From 1982 through 1997 she worked in both Stone Mountain and Tucker offices of Coldwell Banker.In 1997 a move to Lexington, GA, challenged her to try small real estate offices in hopes of selling farms and land. After a short period, in which she was substitute teaching, as well as getting adjusted to a new marketplace, she was offered a position as receptionist for Oglethorpe County Board of Education where she served from July 1998 until 2013 while practicing real estate part-time.Relocating to Athens in 2013 to be closer to her children she realized that Coldwell Banker proved to be the dominant force in real estate in her new city home, so once again, her choice of a Broker was Coldwell Banker.Leigh bring years of experience, a love for the industry, and a joy in serving people; believing that nothing is as satisfying as helping make a dream of home ownership come true.
