Anna Thacker

Anna Greenway graduated from Piedmont College and received a Bachelor’s degree in Early Education. She taught first grade prior to entering the world of real estate. Anna began her real estate career in 2013 and during this time period she has received multiple awards including the Athens Area Association of Realtors Circle of Achievement award. She has also chaired and served on numerous AAAR committees as well as served on The AAAR Board of Directors and MLS Board of Directors. She presently serves as the 2022 Vice President of Administration.

An Athens native, Anna has a true passion for her hometown and all of it’s attributes. She has as special place in her heart for Georgia Football as her grandfather was a 1949 all SEC honoree and played under the great Wally Butts. When Anna does have spare time, she loves to socialize with her family and friends, and she especially loves to visit the Georgia coast where her two precious nieces call home.

Anna is very involved in her community and has volunteered for many Athens philanthropies including, The Athens Area Homeless Shelter, The Boys and Girls Club of Athens, and Lydia’s Place. She has served as an ambassador for the Athens Chamber of Commerce for multiple years. Anna is the 2022 Co-Chair for the Athens Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s and has served on the committee in many capacities since 2013.

Anna promises her clients will have an enjoyable real estate experience, culminating in a smooth and seamless transaction. She will walk her clients through every step of the way whether they are first time home buyers, sellers, investors, or previous clients. Anna will make sure the lines of communications are always open and will have her clients and customers best interest at heart.
